Ford tractors were primarily manufactured in the USA and England before production ceased and the brand was integrated with New Holland.

Fordson was Ford’s original tractor brand, while Ford later became the main name for their agricultural machinery. Fordson focused on simpler models in its early years.

A total of over 800,000 Fordson tractors were produced between 1917 and 1964.

The last Fordson Major model was manufactured in 1964 before Ford transitioned to its modern tractor series.

Ford stopped manufacturing tractors in 1991 when its agricultural machinery division was acquired by Fiat Group.
