Before ordering, we recommend checking the mounting, stroke length, and possibly the part number of your existing gas strut, to ensure you get the right model from the start.
Why is a functioning gas strut important?
A working gas strut makes opening and closing easy and controlled, while reducing the risk of heavy windows or hatches falling shut. If the gas strut loses pressure, you often have to hold the hatch up manually – something that is both impractical and risky.
Replacement rarely takes more than a few minutes, and the cost is low compared to the risks of a faulty strut.
Different types of gas struts in agriculture
Pneumatic gas struts – The most common type, filled with nitrogen gas. Provides smooth and stable opening and closing, and works well in dusty environments.
Hydraulic gas struts – Less common, but used where extra controlled movement is needed, for example on heavy or specially adapted windows.
We offer gas struts in various sizes and pressure levels, including small gas struts for tighter spaces.
