  Replacement roof for Willab hive in untreated New Zealand pine with treated sheet metal cover. The extended surface of the roof has a weather-protective function and helps protect the hive from moisture entering from above. Willab hive roof is delivered untreated. The roof also helps limit UV radiation and reduce the temperature inside the hive by reflecting the sun's harmful rays. It can be beneficially treated with melted wax to create an ideal and bee-friendly surface internally.
