  NOTE! This coil spring compressor is suitable for springs with outer diameter 12.7-16 cm and spring wire diameter 19 mm must never be used to tension larger springs.
  
  Instructions:
  1. Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.
  2. Clean the spring from dirt.
  3. For longer tool life, lubricate threads on the center bolt.
  4. Attach the compressor in the middle of the spring through the upper or lower part of the shock absorber.
  5. The jaws should be attached to threads as close to the ends of the spring as possible. Note that both ends of the compressor have a short and a long jaw. Thus, the tool adapts to the spring and the center bolt is kept in the middle of the spring. Attach the jaws to the spring with long and short jaws on opposite sides.
  6. Turn the center bolt clockwise to tension by hand while adjusting the jaws.
  7. To tension the spring, continue turning the center bolt with the help of a ratchet wrench with a suitable extension and 24 mm socket.
  8. NOTE! Only tension as much as you can mount or dismount the spring from the seat. NEVER OVER-TENSION THE SPRING
  
  NOTE! Some Ford and GM vehicles have bent coil springs. In these cases, attach the tool's long jaws and short jaws on the same side to maintain the curvature of the spring.
